Whip Inflation Now was one of their ideas.
That image raises sooooo many questions. For example, why does a guy called “Doctor Spider” only have SEVEN arms?
@CW – Seven arms and one leg?

you’d expect a picture by Kirby & Wood to be so much better, wouldn’t you?
@bl0000: Wellll, it’s a fraction of a tiny panel in an astonishingly bad 1975 DC comic, shamefully swiping from Marvel. Nobody waxes their car after the crash.
MrJM: I can handle the idea of seven arms and one leg. He’d be like some sort of freaky hopping spider, pogoing everywhere he goes. :)
There IS an 8TH arm….you just don’t see it…nor do you want to know where it’s coming out from. (Ouch!)
Why Doctor Spider (or “Doc-Spi” as he tried to get others to call him in an effort to be friendly…but it never caught on) used his time machine to snatch an issue of a Jeph Loeb/David Finch Marvel comic from the future and send to it to President Gerald Ford (aka “Pres Ger!”)…well, that’s why he (Doctor Spider, not Gerald Ford) is a crackpot.
