  1. Is this a “beat”? Why was there a panel of Sluggo walking without thinking or saying anything? The context of this is almost more intriguing than the bizarre situations we usually see him in.

  2. He’s not doing anything controversial by the standards of the day the strip was drawn, true. But today? That strut violates the 2006 Timberlake Accords, as its levels of Sexy are now considered too dangerous to roam free.

  4. I’m pretty sure Sluggo here is intrigued by that ad he saw in an old comic that promised PRIZES! And money!

    Sluggo just wants that knife.

  5. In a book called BUMS, BEATNIKS, & HIPPIES I think walking down the street minding your own business is the most controversial thing you can do. Sluggo is confounding the reader’s expectations and if that ain’t controversial then I dunno what is.
