Do they write comic book ad copy at all these days?
I’ve read a few of those old romance comics and I think I would remember if they had all the throbbing and pulsating these ads mention.
“Realistic?” The zombies wear leather jackets?
Rage in suspense? Argh, I’m so far on the edge of my seat I’m going to throw something!
There’s more text in those ads than in some entire comics these days.
That’s what modern comics need more of: words that throb.
Also: “What new wonderful experience awaits these newly wed teenagers?” Well, if history is to be believed, regret, recrimination, bitterness, and divorce.
