In case you were wondering where “Shlumping it to you since 1969” came from.

So we got this pretty nice copy of Bunny #19 (September 1971) at the shop the other day, featuring this swell cover full of awful gags:

I couldn’t fit a readable scan on this page, so click the above pic to get a larger image, if you can handle people saying things like “art-of-sight!” “Sigh,” indeed.

Still, nice cover.

  1. For whatever reason, 9-10 year old me loved to read Bunny Ball comics. I didn’t realize that it ran at least 19 issues, though…can’t believe I haven’t looked it up on the GCDb!

    Yvoorg!

  2. Reminds me of those old black-and-white pictures floating around the internet of comics artists drawing on models. Maybe a little less freaky.

  3. For some reason I’m getting a Mad vibe from the crowd with signs. Makes me wish one of the signs said “Impeach Earl Warren.”

  4. No doubt Alan Moore has a Bunny revival (featuring Bunny’s grand-daughter) in the works right now! Heaven help us all…
