Sooo…. Is the running joke that the Abomination wears purple socks? Or that Donny Osmond wears purple socks? Or did he (Donny Osmond, that is) actually wear purple socks in real life, and that was something he was known for?

I’m sorry, I was born in 1975 but the only thing I remember about the 1970s is Crystal Gayle’s hair, John Denver on the Muppets, and that everybody wore brown clothes all the time.
