  7. Usually it’s sensible to advise, “NEVER say, ‘Things can’t get any worse’.”

    But 2024 was the year I had to watch my dear mother die because of a terrible cancer which the doctors had failed to diagnose, so at least THAT can’t happen twice, right..?!

    Here’s hoping / praying for a happier 2025.
