What a cool cover!
I had to look up a few names–I wasn’t familiar with or had forgotten about George W. Geezil, Bernard the Buzzard, and Granny. However, I did recall Alice the Goon, Eugene the Jeep, and the Sea Hag. And all the core Popeye characters, of course.

Wimpy would be reading a newspaper which would depict a photo–or drawing–of Alfred Hitchcock in an advertisement for the “Reducto Obesity Slayer,” to remain as faithful to Hitchcock’s actual cameo in the film “Lifeboat” as possible.
